As a child growing up in New Jersey, Jamie Shemesh always had a fascination with stories. Whether it was diving into the pages of a novel or creating her own imaginative tales, storytelling became her refuge and passion. Little did she know that those early experiences would shape her future and lead me on an incredible writing journey.
After dedicating two decades of her life to teaching writing, she made a life-changing decision. With the support and encouragement of her husband, Larry Shemesh, they embarked on a new adventure and moved to the sunny state of Florida. It was there, surrounded by the beauty of nature and inspired by new beginnings, that Jamie decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a published author.

Jamie Shemesh grew up and raised her children in New Jersey. Seven years ago, she traded snow boots for flip flops and moved to Florida with her husband Larry. A teacher of writing for 20 years, Jamie put her pencil to paper and wrote The Embedded. This is her debut novel. When she is not writing, you can find Jamie at the dog park with her Dane/Shepard mix, Van, shark tooth searching at the beach, and traveling to NJ to visit her grandchildren.
